How to Install eSIM on Samsung Galaxy Devices

Follow these steps to activate your eSIM on your Samsung Galaxy device

Before You Begin

  • Make sure your Samsung device is unlocked and eSIM compatible
  • Ensure you have an active Wi-Fi connection
  • Update to the latest Android version for the best experience
  • Have your eSIM QR code ready (from email or eSIM Outlet account)

Method 1: QR Code Installation

1Open Settings

On your Samsung device, open the Settings app.

2Go to Connections

Tap on "Connections" in the Settings menu.

3SIM Card Manager

Tap on "SIM card manager" or "SIM manager".

4Add eSIM / Add Mobile Plan

Tap on "Add eSIM" or "Add Mobile Plan" button.

5Scan QR Code

Tap "Scan carrier QR code" and use your camera to scan the QR code sent to your email from eSIM Outlet.

Tip: Make sure the QR code is displayed at full size and in a well-lit environment.

6Confirm and Activate

Review the plan details, then tap "Add" or "Confirm". Follow any additional on-screen instructions.

7Enable Data Roaming

Go back to Connections, tap on "Mobile networks", then make sure data roaming is enabled for your eSIM line.

Troubleshooting for Samsung

QR Code Won't Scan

  • Ensure your screen brightness is high
  • Try displaying QR code on a larger screen
  • Make sure your camera is focused on the code
  • Clean your camera lens

eSIM Not Connecting

  • Toggle Airplane Mode on and off
  • Restart your device
  • Verify data roaming is enabled

eSIM Option Not Available

  • Check if your Samsung phone is eSIM compatible
  • Update to the latest Android version
  • Check with your carrier if they support eSIM
